Residents of Ciherang Pondok Village RT 01/01, Caringin, Bogor, were shaken by the discovery of a female corpse inside an empty house on Wednesday (January 29, 2025). The case came to light when a potential buyer checked the property, which had long been neglected.

From Doll to Corpse: The Shocking Discovery Mystery

According to the Secretary of Ciherang Pondok Village, Acep Tamamudin, the potential buyer initially thought the object on the floor of the house was a doll. “Upon inspection, it turned out to be a corpse. They immediately contacted me and the sub-district office,” he said. The empty house was intended to be sold, but it has now become a site of police investigation.

Victim’s Identity Still Unknown, Inafis Polres Bogor Conducts Autopsy

The female corpse, with long hair, is suspected to have been dead for a long time, making it difficult to identify. Acep added, “So far, there have been no reports of missing persons in the area.” The Inafis team from Bogor Police has taken the body to Kramat Jati for further identification processes.

Community Reaction and the Existence of the Empty House

Acep Tamamudin explained that the house had been empty for a long time and had previously been rented out. “The house has been empty for a long time; it was previously rented out for a long time,” he concluded. This discovery has raised concerns among local residents, who have never heard reports of missing persons.
